With the events in the past few weeks, it is often extremely difficult to look ahead, despite the uncertainty of the events following the Corona Virus Outbreak. With travel restrictions being imposed, people working from home to avoid transmission of the virus and the normality of our day to day lives in limbo as hard as it is we need to remain focused on the good times had and the better times to come. The world is small when events like this happen and it really shows how connected we really are and how much we need to look out for each other.
We here at The Road Trip are focused on spreading the message of unity through unique travel experience and creating fantastic memories. We are also focused on conservation and the protection of our precious Earth and not only are we committed to the kea conservation trust and protection of our beautiful alpine parrot, but we are also in the trees for travellers scheme whereby a small portion of each tour booking goes towards the replantation of our precious forests. This has never been more important than right now.
While the restriction and mandatory 2-week self- isolation may seem harsh, in Australia we are committed to keeping our population as healthy as possible and while this is an incredible short term shock, these measures have been put in place now to reduce longer-term devastation.
Australia is and will continue to be one of the cleanest, greenest and most pristine places on the face of the earth to enjoy nature at its finest and exploring hidden spots that majority of the world may not be lucky enough to experience within the course of their lifetimes.
While travel in general right now may be an uncertain prospect for most, we here at The Road Trip are committed to showing off our fantastic country, providing unique custom experiences through private touring (both privately guided through the expertise of our incredible driver-guides) and custom self -drive packages. We believe in our country, we believe and absolutely appreciate in every traveller that has experienced a tour with us in the last 7 years in both New Zealand and Australia, we support all our fantastic hoteliers and activity providers that have been a huge part of our guests’ incredible experiences and last but certainly not least, our incredible team who put these experiences together.
In the coming years, the appeal to travel to this fantastic country will absolutely continue to grow as will private unique experiences such as what we provide at The Road Trip. Our guests get a trip on their terms and get to experience more time exploring the hidden gems and also opportunities to avoid the crowds meaning the opportunity to listen to the sound of the waves crashing and waterfalls trickling in a peaceful environment.
