One cannot forget a visit to the spectacular Bruny island with its vast array of wildlife and coastal scenery.

The East Coast is famous for the picturesque Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park. Not to be missed in this region is a boat cruise on Wineglass Bay and a chance to taste some of the area’s delectable seafood.

The West Coast is renowned for Strahan and the incredible Gordon River. This is a great place to take a boat cruise and intimately learn about the area.

On the North Coast, one must venture up to Stanley and the Rocky Cape area with its many significant Tasmanian Aboriginal sites, dating back thousands of years. Vast cave middens, artefacts and rock shelters reveal much about the lifestyle of coastal Aboriginal people. A must is also a walk up ‘The Nut’ - one of the area’s famous mountains.
